This part-time position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while providing exceptional customer support to our clients. As a Live Chat Assistant, you will act as the first line of communication for our customers, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. ### Key Responsibilities - Customer Interaction: Engage with customers via live chat to address their inquiries, resolve issues, and provide relevant information about our products and services. - Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely manner by utilizing our internal systems and resources. - Documentation: Accurately document all customer interactions and feedback in the customer relationship management (CRM) system for future reference and analysis. - Collaboration: Work closely with team members to share insights and best practices, ensuring a unified approach to customer service. - Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Duke Energy’s services and offerings to provide customers with precise information and solutions. - Team Support: Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members, sharing expertise and best practices to help them succeed. - Continuous Improvement: Participate in training sessions and feedback meetings aimed at improving overall customer experience and service efficiency. - Adaptability: Adjust to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a positive attitude. ### Requirements - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field; specific experience in live chat support is a plus. - Technical Skills: Proficient in using computer systems and CRM software; experience with live chat platforms is highly desirable. - Soft Skills: - Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in written format, adapting language and tone to suit customer needs. - Teamwork: Strong collaborative skills, with a capacity to work harmoniously with team members and other departments. - Personality Traits: - Hardworking: Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving team and company goals. - Energetic: Possesses a positive and engaging demeanor that fosters a pleasant interaction with customers. ### Benefits - Training & Professional Development: Access to ongoing training opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career. - Paid Time Off (PTO): Enjoy a generous PTO policy that promotes work-life balance. - Paid Overtime: Opportunities to earn additional income through overtime pay. ### Working Environment At Duke Energy, we transcend borders, promoting collaboration on a global scale.
