Job Overview We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Medical Billing A/R Specialist to join our dynamic team. This remote position is integral to our mission of optimizing revenue by systematically monitoring and resolving outstanding medical claims. You will be responsible for ensuring claims are processed in a timely manner while verifying the accuracy of coding and payments to meet... our clients’ needs. Key Responsibilities • Actively engage with insurance companies to secure timely and accurate payments for claims. • Research and submit corrected claims or appeals to facilitate prompt resolution. • Liaise with insurance representatives to address and resolve any payment discrepancies. • Accurately process and document adjustments, including write-offs, transfers, and chargebacks across various platforms. • Provide pertinent information to clients to assist in collection efforts. • Analyze insurance reimbursement receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information by adhering to professional standards and regulatory compliance. Required Skills • Comprehensive knowledge of medical billing terminology and processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills. • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Superior documentation skills and time management capabilities. • Fundamental math skills are required.
