We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and computer-savvy individual for the role of Data Entry Clerk. As a key member of our data team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of information within our digital database. Responsibilities... Data Entry: Transfer information from paper documents to our database using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners. Customer Input: Type in data directly provided by customers, ensuring precision and completeness. Spreadsheet Creation: Generate error-free spreadsheets with significant numerical data. Data Verification: Confirm data accuracy by comparing it to source documents, making necessary updates. Data Retrieval: Retrieve information from the database or electronic files as per requests. Data Maintenance: Perform regular backups to guarantee data preservation. Organization: Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to prevent loss. Requirements And Skills Experience: Proven experience as a data entry clerk. Typing Proficiency: Fast typing skills with a preference for knowledge in touch typing. Software Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.). Technical Understanding: Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices. Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of databases. Communication: Strong command of English, both oral and written, along with excellent customer service skills. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure data accuracy.
