Senior UI/UX Specialist (games): (please note this is a contractor position that can only be remote in EU) My client is seeking a highly creative and motivated Senior UI/UX specialist to help shape the visual and interactive identity of our brand-new game. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with the Leads and vision holders of the project to create exceptional user interfaces and experiences. Your role will be pivotal in defining user journeys, and ensuring our products are visually distinct and accessible. You will lead the UI function and contribute to every stage, from wireframes to final implementation in game. This is a role where the successful candidate can demonstrate the ability to create visually striking interfaces as well as deliver a friendly and accessible user experience. Requirements: · 4+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in a console or PC game studio. · Art background · Proven track record with at least two shipped titles. · Strong graphic design and UI skills (colour theory, typography, composition). · Experience with UX design, user journeys, and personas. · Knowledge of technical constraints in game engines and ability to implement designs with animations and VFX. · Experience working cross-functionally and managing stakeholders. · Passion for accessibility, usability, and UX in games. · Proven experience creating UI for Unity engine, animations and interactions. Responsibilities: · Collaborate with Art, Design, and Code teams to design and implement intuitive UI. · Lead the UI design function, from concept to final execution. · Communicate and document design concepts to ensure alignment across teams. · is updated on UX trends and gameplay innovations to keep designs fresh and relevant. Nice to haves: · Experience designing logos and marketing assets to establish the productÂs visual identity. · Experience with other Game engines · Experience with 3D creation pipelines Apply Job!Â
