This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Johns Hopkins University is hiring seasonal, Part-Time Application Readers for the 2024-2025 cycle. This remote position is required to work 20-40 hours per week, mid-October through mid-March, to support the Undergraduate Admissions staff through the application evaluation... process. Seasonal readers will go through a thorough training process, led by our admissions staff. After completing training, Application Readers will support the initial review for first year applicants for both domestic and international students. Specific Duties & Responsibilities  Perform comprehensive evaluation of applicant information including academic criteria, activities, essays, recommendations, and additional materials, while taking a studentÂs context into consideration.  Support preparation of files for the transfer review process. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities  Knowledge and familiarity with high school transcripts and curricula, both domestic and international is preferred.  Strong analytical and reading skills.  Work well independently and ask questions when necessary.  Excellent time management and organizational skills.  Ability to meet strict deadlines, including weekly numerical targets for files read.  Demonstrate utmost level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding Johns Hopkins University application review process and applicant information. Additional Requirements  Must have a private computer and space to conduct file review, along with reliable internet.  Current CBO, independent, school, or admissions counselors are NOT eligible to apply due to potential conflict of interest, also, cannot have a child currently applying to college. Minimum Qualifications  BachelorÂs Degree. Preferred Qualifications  Experience in secondary schools or higher education.
