We have a contract with a client who is seeking translation and editing services for materials regarding disaster relief and response. Languages needed: Amharic, Tigrinya, Somali, Swahili, Khmer, Thai, Yiddish, Hmong, Tamil, Malay, Lao, Polish, Urdu, Indonesian, Burmese, and Samoan. Qualifications: • US Citizen, Green Card holder, or Permanent US Resident - applicant must live and work in the US. • Experience in Translation and/or Interpreting • Any certification is a plus, but not required. For example, • a current voting member in good standing of the American Translators Association, • and/or a current member in good standing of the American Association of Language Specialists, • and/or a certified and registered interpreter on the Judicial Council Master List, • and/or degree in Translation or Interpretation Apply Job!
