Social Studies Teacher Turning Point - ALP Monticello School District 1.0 FTE Position Job Summary: Monticello High School is seeking a qualified, motivated individual to teach Social Studies at Turning Point ALP. The individual should be passionate about teaching and serving students who need support in an alternative setting (which may include in person or virtually). Licensure and Experience: Valid Minnesota Social Studies Teaching Licensure Experience and training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods (or similar) required Teaching experience in a high school setting with Social Studies certification and/or alternative education experience Essential Skills Required: Passionate about working with high school students Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred online at Attachment(s): Powered by Aspex Solutions - AppliTrack, Applicant Tracking for Educators.
