It seeks an additional faculty member to help further build on the program's success. Temple’s Heart and Vascular Institute has a long history of clinical excellence, particularly in the treatment of all forms of pulmonary hypertension and associated hemodynamic derangements, including right heart failure. Giving our patients access to some of the world's most advanced therapies — and helping them achieve outcomes once thought impossible — is the driving force for all our clinical care, research, and medical education.Candidate Minimum Qualifications: Successful candidates will have an M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent, be board-certified in cardiology or pulmonary, with clinical training and experience in treating Pulmonary Hypertension. In addition to educating Temple’s medical students, residents, and fellows, it is strongly preferred that applicants be interested in novel research in pulmonary hypertension and right heart function. Candidates must have academic credentials that qualify them for a faculty appointment at the minimum level of Assistant Professor and have or be eligible to receive an unrestricted Pennsylvania State Medical License.Faculty Appointment, Benefits/Compensation Annual compensation shall be determined based on the selected individual's experience and qualifications.
