Position OverviewWe are seeking a Community Moderator to provide support for our global community on Telegram. Reporting to the Community Manager, the moderators will be responsible for ensuring an engaging, welcoming, and informative environment for GenLayer users across different time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and moderate the Telegram community to ensure a positive and productive environment.
• Respond promptly to community questions, directing users to relevant resources and escalating complex issues to the Community Manager.
• Enforce community guidelines, addressing spam, inappropriate behavior, and misinformation.
• Facilitate discussions, engage with community members, and encourage participation in GenLayer initiatives.
• Collect feedback and provide insights on common user concerns and trends within the community.
• Support in organizing and moderating AMAs, community challenges, and Telegram-exclusive events.
• Collaborate with the Community Manager to develop FAQs and pinned messages to improve self-service support.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth, 24/7 coverage across time zones.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience moderating online communities, preferably in blockchain, crypto, or AI spaces.
• Strong understanding of Telegram platform features and community management best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
• Passion for blockchain, AI, and decentralized technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
• Availability to cover designated time shifts to ensure 24/7 support for the GenLayer community.

• Familiarity with GenLayer’s technology and ecosystem.
• Experience managing large, fast-growing Telegram communities.
• Basic knowledge of smart contracts, DeFi, or Web3 applications.
