About the role
Concept Plus seeks an Operations Group Manager for a Federal IT project. This role will lead a team supporting data center operations, including Unix, database, and security administration.
What you'll do
- Provide overall data center IT operations support for Government client.
- Responsible for leading a team to perform the following functions:
- Computer Operations
- UNIX Systems Administration
- Configuration Management
- Enterprise Backup and Recovery Administration
- Database Administration & Development
- Database and UNIX Security Administration
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.
- 7 years of Project Management experience required.
- 7 years of experience managing multiple complex projects.
- 5 years of personnel management.
- Demonstrated hands on experience in Federal security management.
- Prefer demonstrated experience in as many of the following areas as possible:
- Database and UNIX Security Administration
- UNIX Systems Administration
- Database Administration/Development
- Enterprise Backup and Recovery
- Configuration Management
- Computer Operations & Capital Planning
