  • Location: Remote - Preferred: Austin, Texas | Texas | Colorado | New Mexico | Arizona
  • Travel: Required up to 50%
Your Opportunity: Join an ambitious and growing team at the forefront of the company’s US market entry. You’ll be responsible for originating and developing utility-scale solar and storage projects across key US markets - from site identification through to ready-to-build. This is a broad and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to help build something from the ground up. With flexibility, autonomy, and long-term leadership opportunities, this is a chance to play a key role in a high-growth journey.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all phases of utility-scale solar and storage project development
  • Identify and assess new sites, conduct early-stage market analysis and due diligence
  • Secure land agreements including lease and easement negotiations with landowners
  • Support the interconnection process and coordinate key applications
  • Navigate local, state, and federal permitting processes
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and development risks
  • Oversee external consultants and collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams
  • Engage with landowners, local officials, and community stakeholders to build strong relationships
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, environmental science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in US renewable energy development, with strong focus on solar
  • Proven ability to lead development activities from greenfield through to NTP
  • Excellent project management and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Proficient with GIS tools and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
