FSWs' adjunct professors are responsible for providing professional quality work as a teaching faculty member. Work includes conducting and teaching courses in the evenings in the Live Online (Zoom) modality within the prescribed curriculum for students enrolled at the College; preparing and delivering lectures to students; compiling, administering and grading examinations; and providing academic assistance to students as needed. • Doctoral or master's degree in TESOL, Bilingual Education, or TESOL Literacy from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a concentration in related TESOL, Bilingual Education, and/or Curriculum and Instruction courses (a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline)
• Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught and currency in the discipline, including 3 years of successful full-time permanent teaching in related K-12 classrooms.
