Here, you will make an impact by:Demonstrating a high level of service and customer satisfaction via effective scheduling, inventory management, order planning and processing, SKU data management, backorder prevention, and maintaining supplier communicationAnalyzing and managing working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targetsPublishing and presenting service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysisMonitoring and reporting capacity requirementsAnalyzing material flow parameters such as lot size, making cycle frequency, replenishment interval, min/max, safety stock, and managing all supply chain sku dataUtilizing Supply Chain tools and processes such as SAPUtilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and improve supply chain speed; Leading and implementing cross-functional continuous improvement projectsYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations Management, and/or Business Administration (completed and verified prior to startOrBachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, and/or SAP in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Production Planning within a manufacturing plantAPICS (The Association for Operations Management) certification or willingness to obtainExperience leading continuous improvement projectsExperience with SAP ERP SoftwareExcellent written & oral communication skills; good presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to influence others and work effectively in a team environmentAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong data mining, analytical, and decision-making skillsWork location:
