Your ability to conduct statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. As an ML engineer on our Defense Technology team, you’ll train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data.In this role, you’ll own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. You’ll be part of a large community of machine learning engineers across the company and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world-class solutions to the special operations community. The world can’t wait.You Have:3+ years of experience with ML engineering, data science, research engineering, software engineering, development, or full stack engineering, including in an academic or professional environmentExperience with object-oriented programming in Java, C++, or PythonExperience with developing software architecture with containerization tools, including Docker or KubernetesExperience in the Special Operations or DoD communityExperience with databases, including SQLKnowledge of data science fundamentals and methodsAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or EngineeringNice If You Have:5+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models into production within DoD enclavesExperience with training models in Databricks with MLflowExperience with software development, including API development or database management, and model deployment and usage with JavaScript frameworks, including React, Angular, or Node.jsKnowledge of the DoD and IC domains and artificial intelligence principles and practicesAbility to deploy a production application to a Cloud environment, including Google Cloud or Amazon Web ServicesMaster's degreeClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
