Responsibilities:The Senior Analyst of Systems and Development is responsible for creating data-driven analyses that improve business decision-making. Responsible for supporting and improving daily processes that drive revenue production. This includes maintaining and creating programming scripts needed for business analysis review and other revenue management related processes.
  • Maintain daily revenue management processes, including but not limited to reports and automated runs. Problem solve/troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Develop and maintain scripts leveraging R/Python to support existing revenue management and pricing methods.
  • Mine, validate, and manipulate data to create reports and dashboards that enhance PRM analysts’ market behavior and performance insights.
  • Lead projects requiring data analysis and concise business recommendations
  • Conduct analyses using different data sources to support key reporting for upper management.
  • Develop detailed understanding of Spirit’s proprietary pricing software to help support existing offers and develop new offers.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to ensure appropriate data is collected and recorded accurately.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or Computer Science.
  • 2 years experience in Revenue Management (preferred)
  • Data analysis expertise using R, Python and SQL.
  • Exceptional mathematical reasoning – must be able to determine correct mathematical. methods or formulas to solve a problem that relates to revenue management or pricing.
  • Able to effectively explain complex processes to a non-technical audience.
  • Can work and think independently, but also collaborates with colleagues and seeks feedback when developing new reports, methods, etc.
  • Thirst for knowledge –willingness to learn new programming languages as needed and develop knowledge of revenue management/pricing science.
  • Complex problem solving and critical thinking – identify opportunities to improve revenue through new analytics or new methodologies.
  • Effectively copes with change regardless of scope and can shift direction comfortably with minimal disruption.
  • Creative thinking – be able to creatively address concerns or opportunities to leverage unique business model and maximize revenue.
  • Able to effectively design processes, procedures and practices that eliminate complexity and streamline execution.
  • Domestic travel under 10% of time
  • Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • Hybrid role 4 days in office and 1 remote in Dania Beach, FL.
