Learn more at getoptimum.xyz (https://getoptimum.xyz/) Role Overview As our Community Moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive community atmosphere, upholding community guidelines, and providing meaningful engagement with audience through social media platforms on behalf of Optimum.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce community guidelines across all social platforms while maintaining a positive atmosphere
- Manage Discord channels, events, and interactive activities that strengthen community bonds
- Foster genuine connections with community members through authentic, helpful interactions
- Provide technical support for Discord bots, integrations, and platform tools
- Build rapport and trust with our user base through consistent, meaningful engagement
- Communicate feedback from the community to the Optimum team
Requirements
- 2+ years community moderating on social platforms (Discord and Telegram experience required)
- 2+ years experience in public-facing communications
- Strong understanding of community guidelines and ability to apply policies appropriately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote, asynchronous teamwork
- Resilience and composure in high-pressure situations
- Genuine enjoyment of community building with diverse groups
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Comfort working with a global remote team
