About the position The City of St. Petersburg is conducting ongoing recruitment for a part-time, seasonal (summer) and temporary applicant pool. This position involves important public contact work on a part-time basis, accurately collecting cash and electronic credit and debit payments for goods and services provided at a Parks and Recreation facility. Responsibilities include the correct recording of transactions and providing general assistance while answering patrons' questions regarding the nature preserve and its programs. The work requires rapid and accurate completion of transactions and demands extreme accuracy. The work schedule varies and may include assignments on weekends and holidays. Responsibilities ? Possess a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency. , ? Have at least six (6) months experience as a cashier, bookkeeper, teller, or similar position. , ? Have prior experience with money handling, cash registers, and computers. , ? Be flexible to work a varied day shift schedule, including weekends and holidays. , ?
