Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
THE POSITION IS OFFERED BY A NO FEE STAFFING AGENCY Express Pros is looking for an EXPERIENCED Heavy Equipment Mechanic! Job Duties: ? Inspect heavy equipment ? Diagnose problems, often using computerized tools ? Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools ? Test equipment that has been repaired and make adjustments ? Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work ? Disassemble and reassemble equipment ? Consult equipment operating manuals and blueprints ? Travel to worksites to repair heavy equipment ? Maintain equipment repair logs Job Qualifications: ? Must provide own tools. ? Must have atleast 5 years of related experience. ? Knowledge and skill to determine the cause of malfunctions and make repairs to a variety of heavy mobile equipment and vehicles. ? Knowledge of how various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and fuel systems work together. ? Skill in using a wide variety of test procedures and equipment in tracing hard-to-locate problems; Skill in completing major repairs, overhauls, and modifications with little or no technical advice. ? Skill to conduct functional and performance tests on completed work assignments. ? Knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other non-mechanical systems that have a functional relationship and effect on the operation of mechanical systems. ? Thorough knowledge of hydraulic lifting, loading, turning, and positioning systems and their mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic controls.
