Head of CRO (Remote US)

Directive Consulting is a global leader in SaaS marketing, renowned for our Customer Generation methodology, which focuses on driving qualified leads and conversions for our clients. We are seeking a dynamic CRO Director to lead our Conversion Rate Optimization efforts, helping us deliver exceptional client results and achieve department growth. ? Please note- this role is titled Director of CRO internally* Team Structure:The CRO Director will manage a growing team of CRO Strategists and Designers. The primary task is to lead the transformation from a design-focused department to a conversion-focused powerhouse. Initially, they'll manage a small team, but growth milestones will unlock more hiring and team expansion. Role Focus:This isn't just a management role; it's about taking ownership of the CRO product offering. The CRO Director will establish and refine best practices and methodologies for conversion rate optimization. They'll work closely with the sales and marketing teams at Directive to grow the product's revenue and meet their P&L goals, bringing a strategic lens to CRO that directly impacts both client success and business growth. Key Responsibilities: ? Lead the overhaul of the existing team to shift focus from design to CRO, creating a results-oriented, data-driven team. ? Develop and implement CRO methodologies that align with Directive's Customer Generation strategy, focusing on driving customer acquisition and retention. ? Collaborate with sales on pitches for new business and upsell opportunities, positioning CRO as a critical growth lever for clients. ? Own team development, including upskilling designers to better understand CRO principles, optimizing existing strategies, and growing the team's overall skill set. ? Ensure financial success by maintaining healthy department margins and achieving revenue targets. ? Drive thought leadership in CRO, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and external marketing initiatives. ? Work with clients to identify conversion opportunities, develop hypotheses, and lead A/B testing initiatives to validate improvements. ? Report on CRO performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations for continued growth. What You Offer: ? 5+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization with a proven track record in B2B SaaS environments. ? Demonstrated experience managing or transforming a team towards CRO, including creating best practices and training others. ? Strong understanding of optimization tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely, Hotjar) and experience leading data-driven tests for client growth. ? Proven experience working cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to grow product revenue and client base. ? Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence both internal stakeholders and external clients. ? Work Environment

Requirements As a remote-first company, you'll have the ability to work from anywhere in the US. For some positions, as posted, we will accommodate global opportunities where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. For global locations, you must have established and current work authorization and permanently reside in that country. This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), and Slack.
