Art Director, GenerativeAI - Avatars

Summary: RL is currently seeking an art director to join our art team to help set the vision and ensure artistic quality for a range of AI based products. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Designers, Creative Directors, Engineers, Product Managers, Artists, Researchers, and Marketing professionals to drive innovation and create groundbreaking experiences. As the Art Director, you will be hands-on, working with teams and production partners to define aesthetics, gain alignment and ensure results across stakeholders. Required Skills: Art Director, GenerativeAI - Avatars Responsibilities: - Develop a unified artistic direction, vision, and high production standard in the creation of AI based experiences on various platforms - Partner with leads on the aesthetic, creative, and technology direction of Art across a range of new product experiences - Push the boundaries of how Art is represented and produced using new tools and processes - Inspire the creative team to be passionate and ambitious in their work - Maintain and manage consistency of visual quality across various products - Effectively influence leaders and key partners across Meta products to gain alignment and communicate with conviction - Partner closely with product, design and engineering to identify opportunities for feature enhancements that would elevate the Art quality and user experience - Collaborate with creative directors, designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a global audience Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Extensive industry experience as an Art Director at a game company, agency or similar field - Experience developing stylistic direction on visual and artistic quality - Experience working cross-functionally, balance the needs of stakeholders, and break down complex narratives into simple, but compelling ideas - Demonstrated experience and understanding of new creation tools, 3D workflows and the emerging industry landscape - Demonstrated experience understanding technical skills and constraints, and the creativity to imagine new uses for them - Proven track record in presentation skills, interpersonal relationships, and sharing concepts at scale, with a demonstrated experience in communicating complex and abstract concepts. - Experience with art creation tools, new technologies, and a track record of thriving in time sensitive environments Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: - Extensive experience working across a range of AI creation tools - Experience working in the AR/VR industry - Examples of shipped creation tool products - Experience in avatar systems Public Compensation: $149,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry: Internet Equal Opportunity: Meta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
