Senior Data Analyst

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in San Antonio, TX. Duties: • Senior Data Analyst will analyze non-IT business problems and articulate requirements to support process improvement • Identify alternative solutions and recommend strategies to enhance underwriting decisions • Prepare clear, concise documentation based on your analysis, including rationale and recommendations • Develop frameworks to assess financial impacts of new credit strategy changes and evaluate the success of prior initiatives • Collaborate with technical stakeholders to document technical requirements for proposed changes • As a Senior Data Analyst, you will support the data team by defining data requirements and performing data validations related to credit risk • Analyze credit performance, using data extraction and manipulation to drive insightful business decisions • Present your findings and recommendations to stakeholders, securing buy-in for strategic changes • 5+ years of analyzing loan application and credit/financial performance data to make strategic recommendations • 5+ years of coding in a SAS/SQL environment to extract, aggregate, validate, and prepare data for analysis • Proven communication skills to engage stakeholders and gain buy-in for recommended changes • Proficiency in SAS/SQL for data extraction and analysis • Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and financial modeling • Expertise in PowerPoint to create compelling presentations The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
