Software Engineer, Data Flows and Infrastructure

We are seeking an IT professional whose main job responsibility will be to setup and manage dataflow between networks and server including but not limited to semiconductor test equipment. This individual will be required to read code written in multiple operating languages including Perl, C, etc. and will need to package it appropriately to deliver to internal IBM analysis systems. In addition, providing network support and figuring out data replication strategies will also be key in this role. The ideal candidate will possess the following IT skills; Java WebSphere applications Python Bash Perl C/C++ Rexx Korn shell scripting (preferred) DB2 database (preferred) The past experiences of candidate should include development, testing, and deployment of applications requiring these skills. You must be willing to relocate/work in Albany, NY. Must have a minimum BS degree in computer science or a related field from a fully accredited college or university. Preferably MS level degree. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Minimum 2-3 years of dataflow infrastructure/network setup and support. Minimum 2-3 years of direct coding experience utilizing software programming language mentioned above. Direct experience with semiconductor test equipment is ideal. Preferred Tech and Prof Experience 5-8 years of coding and dataflow setup. Past experience working with Advantest 93k platforms and Keysight 4080 parametric electrical test equipment.
