Travel Nurse RN - Psychology - $2,344 per week

About the position Bluebird Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Psychology for a travel nursing position in San Angelo, Texas. This role is essential for providing high-quality nursing care to patients within the behavioral health specialty. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide variety of professional nursing duties under general supervision, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care in a clinical setting. The position requires a commitment to patient well-being and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The travel nurse will be expected to work 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with a start date as soon as possible and a contract duration of 13 weeks. Responsibilities • Perform a wide variety of professional nursing duties for patients in the clinical specialty of psychology. , • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs. , • Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team. , • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. , • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment plans. , • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. , • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Requirements • Registered Nurse (RN) license required. , • CPR Certification required. , • Associate Degree in Nursing required. , • High School Diploma required.
