As a Senior Accountant at Confidential Company, you will play a crucial role in managing financial tasks and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Duties: - Apply advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in daily accounting operations. - Manage general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial statements. - Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and other accounting functions. - Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and generate reports. - Collaborate with internal teams to forecast financial trends and provide insights for decision-making. - Conduct detailed analysis of financial data, including debits, credits, and variances. - Lead the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting requirements. - Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as needed. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience. - Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. - Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and best accounting practices. - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Prior experience in general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation is a plus.
