About the position The Director for Enterprise Applications oversees the Banner ERP systems for three Texas State University System colleges within an IT Shared Services environment. This role involves managing system application integration, technical troubleshooting, and issue resolution while supervising the ERP team and their projects. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to enhance productivity and ensure system stability and reliability. Responsibilities • Oversee the general management of the Banner ERP systems for three colleges. , • Supervise the ERP team and their projects, duties, and responsibilities. , • Lead all ERP projects in conjunction with the Assistant Vice President for Information Technology. , • Manage the change management process, migrations, and ensure timely patches and upgrades. , • Research, recommend, plan, and deploy new solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. , • Serve as the primary liaison with the Ellucian Cloud team. , • Ensure consistent system stability, reliability, availability, and exceptional customer service. , • Develop, track, and maintain key performance indicators to measure team success. , • Maintain technical knowledge of all applications in the portfolio, including system capabilities and security protocols. , • Develop and maintain overall ERP system procedures and assist with department-wide policies and procedures. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related area. , • 10 or more years of experience with ERP systems in a higher education setting. , • 5 or more years of personnel supervision and team leadership experience. , • Experience in system design, selection, installation, and conversion. , • Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Argos Reporting Software. Nice-to-haves • Master's degree in information systems, computer science, or related area. , • Experience with Ellucian Banner ERP system. , • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and scripting.
