Responsibilities • Develop policies, procedures, and strategies for the Unisys operating systems environment. , • Provide authoritative advice on disaster recovery, capacity planning, applications development, and security. , • Lead major IRS-wide operating systems projects, including installations and upgrades. , • Develop contingency plans for IT systems to ensure availability during emergencies. , • Manage project plans and processes for modernization activities. Requirements • Experience in Information Technology (IT) demonstrating attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving skills. , • For GS-7: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-5 or one year of graduate education in a related field. , • For GS-9: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-7 or a master's degree in a related field. , • For GS-11: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-9 or a Ph.D. or equivalent graduate education in a related field.
