JOB SUMMARY: The Software Engineer III is an individual contributed and a full-stack developer on an Agile team who is primarily responsible for defining and building software in support of one or more business products. Job role and responsibilities: • Responsible for producing stable and high performing applications • Work in Agile methodologies and contribute toward the entire lifecycle of a user story with particular emphasis on coding, unit testing and deployment pipeline automation • Work with other developers on the team to define high level technical design and follow overall architectural guidelines • Research and learn new technologies and processes as part of continuous improvement • Contribute towards fostering a high performant and self organized team • Clearly communicate potential and real issues to the team and propose solutions to resolve them • Be a champion of MultiPlan's core culture; ACTS - (Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Team work and Service Excellence) • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training): • 4+ years of progressive software programming experience with technologies like: Core Java, Apache Solr, JavaScript (ReactJS, Angular, NodeJs). Spring framework, Service API, SQL, Mongo DB experience a must. • NodeJS/Express, NoSQL, Containerization, Kafka experience a big plus! • Detailed knowledge of object oriented programming concepts and design patterns. • Understanding of multi-tier distributed software architectures, concurrent programming concepts, and multi-threaded applications. • Experience with advanced XML technologies and API's such as XSD, XSLT, (XQuery, and XPath desired). • Knowledge of project management and execution of multiple projects • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure security. Knowledge of large enterprise with a significantly distributed infrastructure • Extensive knowledge of business requirements gathering, designing and developing complex web applications and re-engineering products. • Knowledge of process stabilization, performance analysis, code optimization and testing of web application and data-engineering products. • Knowledge of health care claims and health insurance industry preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Planning, organizing, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Ability to meet strict deadlines, work on multiple tasks and work well under pressure. • Ability to work at the highest technical level on all phases of software systems programming applications. • Bachelors' degree in a relevant/related field is a significant plus and is strongly preferred. COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is $130K to $140K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
