Workers’ Compensation Medical-Only Adjuster

Wright Public Entity serves as a management company providing claims administration, risk management & loss control, underwriting & marketing, and client services in New York. We also act as a TPA for Workers Compensation for various self-insured schools & municipalities in New York. Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to development and processing of workers’ compensation benefit claims, examination of accident and medical reports to determine compensability and liability, analyze claim case records and initiate proper claim processing routines, examine medical bills and authorize payment, and respond to written & telephone inquiries from claimants, attorneys, doctors, vendors and clients. Qualifications: We are willing to train potential candidates without experience. The ideal candidate will possess up to two (2) years of experience in adjusting workers’ compensation medical only files or a background in medical bill review. Associates degree is required. New York State Independent Motor Vehicle No-Fault & Workers’ Compensation Health Services Adjuster License is required or must be obtained within 6 months after employment.
