Manager of Insurance Agency

We are seeking a Manager Of Insurance Agency to join our team! You will be responsible for expanding the company's book of business by selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients. Key Responsibilities: • Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and mentor the insurance team to ensure high performance and professional development. • Insurance Policy Management: Oversee the administration, renewal, and implementation of insurance policies to ensure comprehensive coverage for the organization. • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and recommend strategies for mitigation to reduce exposure and optimize coverage. • Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with insurance providers and brokers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing. • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. Prepare and deliver reports on insurance matters to senior management. • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the department’s budget, ensuring that insurance costs are controlled and aligned with company objectives. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree or extensive experience preferred • Two years experience as an Insurance Manager • Must have Property & Casualty license • Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance • Knowledge of PL Rater & AMS360 Opportunity to take ownership of agency growth and staff development.
