What You’ll Do: Product Knowledge & Problem Resolution

  • Master the ins and outs of Richardson product lines, including specifications and custom decoration options.
  • Resolve customer issues with precision and efficiency, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Provide expert recommendations to help customers choose the best products for their needs.

Communication

  • Maintain open and regular communication with dealers and distributors via email and phone.
  • Keep customers informed with timely updates on orders, shipments, and any challenges that arise.
  • Track and document all customer interactions for consistency and accountability.

Sales Order Management

  • Coordinate and process orders from start to finish, managing inventory availability, pricing, lead times, and shipment tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment.
  • Proactively communicate any potential delays or issues with accounts.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams to maintain strong customer relationships and improve workflows.
  • Contribute to team meetings with ideas for enhancing order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Support cross-departmental initiatives to streamline processes and optimize the customer experience.

Requirements: The MVP We’re Looking For: Industry Experience

  • Required: 2-3 years in sales support or account management, ideally in the Promotional Products or Sporting Goods industry.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with supply chains, production processes, and custom-decorated products.

Decoration and Customization Expertise

  • Understanding of decoration methods like embroidery and screen printing.
  • A detail-oriented eye for design to assist customers in making great customization choices.

Tech Proficiency

  • Comfortable with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM platforms like HubSpot.
  • Organization & Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts, deadlines, and priorities seamlessly.
  • Resourceful problem-solver who can troubleshoot issues for both internal teams and customers.

Communication & Relationship Building

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with a diverse range of customers.
  • Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Attention to Detail

  • Meticulous in reviewing customer specifications, customization requests, and pricing to avoid errors.
