Apprentice Craft Laborer

We are exclusively accepting applications for the Apprentice Craft Laborer position. We install solar systems across the nation and are looking for hardworking and reliable individuals who are willing to learn and grow. The main purpose of an Apprentice Craft Laborer is to gain skills and knowledge to install/build various mechanical systems/components of solar and Renewable Energy systems on an active construction site. This person will exercise great care in safety and quality and will be a great team player. Depending on work location, travel may be required. Apprentice Craft Laborers will learn the skills and various components in the following areas; safety and work habits, use and care of tools, equipment, machinery, and materials, construction, maintenance, and repair, preparation, layout and quality assurance, as well as the basics of codes, standards, drawing and schematics. Other requirements as it relates to this position:

• This is a time-based apprenticeship program and requires 4,000 on the job learning hours and a minimum of 288 hours of related instruction.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment at all times (Gloves, safety glasses, safety vest, proper work boots, and proper clothes, etc.)
• Attend and complete mandatory training.
• Able to follow instructions from leadman/Foreman and field leadership members.
• Timely and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The job demands physical stamina and the ability to stoop, bend, walk, and lift and carry heavy objects and equipment.
