About The Role & Team:

As an International Group Sales Manager, you will be promoting unique leisure group vacation experiences, as well as convention, meeting, and incentive group experiences (also known as MICE) at the Walt Disney World Resort for groups of all sizes who originate their travel outside of the United States. The 4:1 hybrid schedule allows for high value communication between multiple cross-functional partners. Come join this outstanding team! You will report to the Sales Director- Resort Sales. This is a Full-Time position. • *What You Will Do:** + Develop leisure group travel experiences for groups originating from outside the United States (including Puerto Rico) + Develop meetings and incentive business through new and existing business relationships, sales calls, tradeshows, and other sales activities + Develop targeted sale plan against your assigned market + Design and host site inspections and client entertainment opportunities + Craft proposals and solutions for your clients that are reflective of the Disney Brand + Represent the Disney brand in all client interactions + Collaborate with key partners to ensure excellent guest service delivery + Manage contracts, room blocks, and credit terms and approvals + Ensure a no more than 24-hour turnaround for internal and external client communications + Actively participate in ongoing training seminars to further enhance current skills • *Required Qualifications and Skills:** + At least two years of international sales experience and developing international group markets + Ability to travel as needed, a valid passport is required as there may be international travel + Demonstrated knowledge of meetings and conventions industry, including market segments, trends, national and local competitors, processes, and workflows + Demonstrated client management and partnering abilities + Possess and demonstrate strong business acumen + Ability to discover, understand, and communicate client needs, effectively and efficiently + Demonstrated client management and knowledge of market conditions and buyers in a competitive marketplace + Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays + Proficiency with digital selling, virtual site visits, and social media technology in a sales environment + Develop strategic sales strategies to move the business forward + Knowledge of International Travel Distribution Chain (Wholesalers, Receptive Tour Operators, In-Country Travel Retailers, and Wholesalers) • *Preferred Qualifications:** + Multi-hotel Sales experience + Knowledge of the Disney Meetings product + Experience in the Orlando marketplace + Understanding market conditions and buyers within the greater Orlando area and other key markets + Understanding of the Disney product line to include resorts, parks, DCL, Disney Institute, and the Disney Event Group. + Multi-lingual, Spanish and Portuguese preferred • *Education:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred • *Additional Information:** Benefits and Perks: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
