Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Commercial Sales Executive to drive revenue growth within a territory of companies with 1,000 - 8,000 employees. This role is responsible for selling through channel partners, directly to end users, and via Marketplaces like Azure and others - leveraging all routes to market. The ideal candidate understands the channel community, has strong existing relationships, and has a proven track record of success in field sales.

Role Responsibilities:

• Meet and exceed sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis.

• Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned to business needs and sales targets.

• Identify, engage, and grow channel partnerships to drive incremental revenue.

• Effectively communicate ControlUp’s value proposition to IT and business decision-makers.

• Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing.

• Conduct strategic account mapping to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Partner Sales, and Customer Success teams to drive pipeline and adoption.

• Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management through CRM tools.

• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of field sales experience in B2B technology sales, SaaS, or software solutions.

• Experience working with channel partners and strong existing relationships within the VAR/MSP/ISV ecosystem.

• Proven ability to exceed sales targets in a quota-driven environment.

• Strong negotiation and executive communication skills, with experience selling to IT and business leadership.

• Ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Self-starter with strong business acumen who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Familiarity with Digital Employee Experience (DEX), EUC, VDI, or IT monitoring solutions is a plus.

• MEDDPICC Certified is a plus

• Constantly curious and growth mindset are a must

• Must reside in one of these states: NY, NJ or PA.

• Must be comfortable traveling within the Northeast region.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
