Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director

Under the supervision of the CFO, the FP&A Director is responsible for overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes, as well as providing strategic financial insights to support the organization’s sustainability and growth. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. • Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes. • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization. • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives. • Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting. • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Evaluate potential new ministry opportunities associated with the Vision 2030 plan. • Mentor and develop FP&A team member(s), promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. • Forecast and plan the Balance Sheet and organizational cash flow. • Perform related and special duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements • Five years of experience in financial planning and analysis. • A deep understanding of financial management principles. • Expert financial modeling and analytical skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications. • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset. • Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship Preferred Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or advanced degree a plus. • Certified Public Accountant designation. • Higher education finance or accounting experience. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, Flexible hours (7 ¾) between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. In office expected at least three days a week; telecommuting the remainder of the week. Minimal travel is expected for this position.
