In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will be an integral part of the Finance Team, responsible for delivering strategic insights into the business's financial health. The position involves overseeing financial forecasting and managing financial data related to revenues. The analyst will collaborate closely with sales leaders to develop strategies that drive sales and profit growth, ensuring that the company remains competitive in the market. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly financial reports accurately and on time, managing full P&L responsibility, and coordinating with the accounting department to maintain the quality of financial information. The analyst will analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including revenue and cost of sales across various product lines, and monitor performance indicators to identify trends and analyze the causes of unexpected variances. Additionally, the role requires preparing yearly financial budgets and quarterly forecasts, improving performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies, and developing financial models to support strategic initiatives. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be tasked with analyzing complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes. This includes supporting the Senior Management Team and department heads with in-depth analysis, preparing presentations for the Board of Directors, and conducting ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required. The role also involves supporting management in understanding their spending and controlling their budgets, as well as tracking workforce metrics and ensuring proper coding by department. Responsibilities • Work collaboratively with sales leaders to develop strategies that drive sales and profit growth , • Prepare monthly financial reports in a timely and accurate manner , • Manage full P&L responsibility, including sales, margins, and SG&A , • Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure the quality of financial information , • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including revenue and cost of sales across different product lines , • Monitor performance indicators, identify trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances , • Prepare yearly financial budgets and quarterly forecasts , • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies , • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives , • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes , • Support Senior Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis , • Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team , • Prepare cost center reports and analysis for over 20 departments , • Support management team in understanding their spending and controlling their budget , • Support net working capital improvement measures such as AP, AR, Inventory , • Track workforce, ensure proper coding by department and analyze fluctuations , • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required Requirements • Experience with CapEx, CRM, Data Mining Techniques, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions , • Understanding of Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, Expense Reporting, Finance Nice-to-haves Benefits • Above market pay rates , • Top-tier health benefits , • Work from home flexibility , • Medical insurance , • Vision insurance , • Dental insurance , • Life insurance , • Disability insurance , • 401(k) plan enrollment for contract/temporary professionals Apply Job!
