Senior Data Analyst/Data QA
Summary
This role is for a Senior Data Analyst/Data QA at one of the biggest food corporations. Responsibilities include validating data sources, applying transformation logic, and ensuring persistence/validations in target systems. The position requires close collaboration with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and design a comprehensive data-centric test plan. Key duties involve developing and executing automation frameworks for data platforms, documenting test cases, coordinating with stakeholders on test plans and reviews, creating accurate test data, collaborating with engineers for end-to-end test coverage, analyzing server logs and databases, writing data extraction queries, designing and developing test automation frameworks, and developing mocks/stubs for component testing. Must Have 5+ years in Quality Engineering with Data Platform Testing experience Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes Hands-on experience with Azure cloud ecosystem (Storage, Data Bricks, Data Factory, SQL DBs) Solid knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and pub-sub technologies Good To Have Python coding/scripting and test framework creation Java experience Proficiency in automation tools, scripting languages, and workflow automation platforms Project description The project is for one of the biggest food corporations.
Responsibilities
As a Data QE you will be responsible for validating data sources; application of transformation logic and persistence/validations in the target systems. Work closely with product managers and developers to understand product requirement and design. Develop and execute a comprehensive data-centric test plan aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Develop a comprehensive automation framework for data platforms covering spectrum of applications onboarded. Document detailed functional and integration test cases. Coordinate with the developer; product manager and other business stakeholders on test plan; test case review; identify missing and complex test case scenarios. Create accurate test-data envisioning the operation of the platform and the applications in place Collaborate with engineers from across the spectrum to ensure test coverage and automation end-to-end. Analyse server logs; DB and provide other relevant details with a bug. Writing queries to extract data for Testcase data comparison Design and Develop test automation framework; Improvise the existing framework to accommodate updates. Develop mock/stub to test the functionality of a component in isolation. Skills Must have 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with experience in Data Platform Testing. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies; tools; and processes.
