Job Overview We are in search of a highly skilled Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team in a remote setting. This pivotal role necessitates a robust background in federal acquisition source selection processes, along with a fervent commitment to the development and facilitation of acquisition training programs. As an SME, you will leverage your extensive knowledge to influence curriculum design and training materials, ensuring they meet federal acquisition standards and best practices. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a talented team, contribute to the enhancement of training initiatives, and assist in the professional growth of acquisition specialists. Key Responsibilities • Review and create accurate, up-to-date curriculum content using the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology. • Research, design, and author instructional materials, incorporating diverse technologies to enrich course offerings. • Guide the course design process, ensuring adherence to effective instructional design principles. • Develop training sessions and programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and knowledge. • Review, revise, and update training materials, integrating best practices and various instructional methods. • Create and implement assessments to evaluate training requirements and measure training effectiveness. • Identify and employ optimal instructional design techniques to foster learner engagement and retention. • Ensure training content is accurate, current, and in compliance with organizational branding and procedures. Required Skills • Strong presentation and facilitation capabilities. • Ability to articulate and convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Solid project management proficiency, adept at prioritizing shifting demands effectively. • Proven success in managing standard and technical tasks to meet deadlines and address recurring challenges. • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a results-focused team environment. • Detail-oriented with a flexible and adaptable mindset. • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with a diverse array of individuals. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a related field. • A minimum of 8 years of experience in acquisitions, with a demonstrated background in federal acquisition source selection processes, policies, and procedures. • At least 5 years of experience facilitating acquisition training, showcasing subject matter expertise in pertinent acquisition domains.
