Experienced Development Producer (Contract) - Fully Remote

Playstack is a leading publisher of PC & console indie games. We are looking for an experienced development producer and team leader to help with one of our 3rd party projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a high profile indie game which with your help will be releasing this year. We need someone who has released games on PC and/or console, who has run teams, and knows the ropes. This is not an entry level position. Who You Are: • You must have experience managing and releasing games on PC/Console; direct involvement in team leadership, game delivery, project management, QA and deployment. • You are a strong communicator, team leader and have a track record of driving quality and on time delivery • You are comfortable working with a fully remote, indie team of talent and creative individuals • You are both a high-level and low-level thinker, who can craft goals and manage details • You're proactive and pragmatic, at the same time you look for creative ways to solve problems • You are a passionate gamer How You'll Contribute: • Working with the game's director and leads to help prioritize and manage the development team's work • Facilitating the cross-functional teams required for the planning & delivery of a cross platform indie game • Owning the details, ensuring that everything is accurately tracked, and that everyone knows their priorities and dependencies are considered. • Managing the QA, devOps and daily build reviews • Ensuring that features and releases are regularly reviewed and actions tracked • Communicate project status upwards and outwards, highlighting risks and actions What you'll need: • Experience of leading/facilitating/managing a game development team • Excellent organizational and project tracking skills, and a willingness to sweat the details • Composure to handle the competing pressures and challenges of day to day game development • Initiative to work with the diverse range of people needed to develop and support a game • Experience managing remote development teams This is a contract position, and is likely full-time, but there is flexibility depending on availability. The team works US East Coast hours, a candidate will need to commit to working to that timezone. Apply Job!
