Full job description QEO Group, LLC is seeking qualified Sr. Commercial Auto Loss Control Reps to conduct in-person surveys with its insureds on both new and renewal business, and to provide loss control services and training for commercial accounts. The Sr. Commercial Auto Loss Control Rep evaluates the observed risk exposures present for each account, comments upon the adequacy (or lack thereof) of risk mitigation and operational safety processes and procedures currently in place, and offers policyholders suggested improvements where needed. QEO’s Sr. Commercial Auto Loss Control Representative frequently interacts with its agents and policyholders not only to discuss the mitigation of risk exposures that could ultimately lead to losses, but equally important, to educate them about the critical importance of prompt claims reporting procedures. This is a "home based" position. The selected candidate will work out of their home, scheduling their daily appointments. This positions comes with a company furnished car, laptop computer, cell phone, and other tools need to effectively manage the position. Depending on your territory, overnight travel required. Job Responsibilities Utilize expertise to evaluate risk exposures of the various insureds’ operations, and to comment upon the adequacy of risk mitigation controls in place preparing comprehensive commercial auto loss control survey reports and vehicle inspection reports. Ability to analyze CAB and Safer reports to determine what is currently driving the risk scores of prospective accounts. Present recommendations to policyholders in order to reduce observed risk exposures in order to improve the loss ratios of the respective accounts. Identify and report to QEO’s Underwriting and Senior Management regarding unacceptable risk exposures, and/or present recommendations for bringing a risk into compliance with QEO's Commercial Auto Underwriting Guidelines. Assist in growing QEO’s business by marketing to QEO’s agency plant. Job Requirements/Qualifications • 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Auto Claims, Loss Control or related loss control field. • Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean MVR. • Knowledge of DOT / FMCSR codes is a plus, as well as an ability to read and analyze policyholder loss runs analyze trends and patterns that affect claims frequency and severity. • Position requires excellent interpersonal skills, as well as exceptional oral and written communication skills. • Good organizational skills as well as an ability to effectively multi-task is definitely needed for this position. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a definite plus! • Salary range for this position is wide ranging from $70,000 - $85,000+ depending upon the candidates’ experience level, job qualifications, and education levels. .
