Position: IBM iSeries Mainframe Engineer (100% Remote) Location: 100% Remote Duration : 18 months Job Description: We need someone worked on IBM iSeries AS/400 / CL , Cobol , JCL and AWS S3 , Athena , Glue etc . This is MUST. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on IBM iSeries mainframe, primarily using CL and Cobol, and some knowledge of JCL. Additionally, they should be familiar with the latest AWS data technologies including AWS Lakehouse, S3, Athena, Glue, and Airflow (MWAA). Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize applications on IBM iSeries mainframe using CL and Cobol. Write and manage JCL scripts for job scheduling and execution. Integrate IBM iSeries applications with AWS data technologies. Design and implement data pipelines using AWS Lakehouse, S3, Athena, Glue, and Airflow (MWAA). Ensure data quality and consistency across different platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to mainframe and AWS technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 10+ years of experience with IBM iSeries mainframe, CL, Cobol, and JCL. Strong knowledge of AWS data technologies including Lakehouse, S3, Athena, Glue, and Airflow (MWAA). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Skills: Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
