Position Summary: Provider Enrollment/Credentialing Specialist is responsible for submitting and maintaining provider enrollments to ensure timely application submissions and continued PAR statuses. Responsibilities may include assisting providers with obtaining initial/renewal state licensures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • All functions require detailed notes of communications, application statuses, and follow ups. • Request payor contracts on behalf of our clients and pursue contracting through to completion. • Research current group/provider payor processes, secure payor representative contacts, verify group/provider statuses timely and accurately. • Communicate payor process updates to leadership. • Assist providers with obtaining/renewing medical licenses. • Establish and maintain CAQH group/provider accounts. Perform quarterly Reattestations timely. • Complete/Submit group/provider enrollment payor applications, follow through to completion. • Payor Escalations when processing time exceeds standard processing ETA. • Respond to payor recredentialing/development requests promptly. • Provide clear and accurate status updates in weekly/bi-weekly client meetings. Respond to client requests timely and professionally. • Knowledge of Hospital initial appointment/reappointment application processes a plus. REQUIREMENTS: • Three years of Provider Enrollment experience. • Excellent attention to detail. Able to effectively maintain multiple priorities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office products. • Candidate must be able to work independently on projects and communicate project status to leadership and clients in a professional manner.
