Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse include using the nursing process to provide patients with optimal quality and continual nursing care in the comfort of their residences. Responsibilities Fill out and scan the necessary record-keeping forms and charts during the guest's admission, transfer, and/or discharge. Document nurses' notes in a detailed and descriptive way that accurately reflects the care given to the guest and their response to it Notify the Director of Nursing about any discrepancies observed in physician's orders, dietary changes, charting errors, and other related issues. Make sure that the relevant documentation for unauthorized discharges is recorded in the guest's medical record, following the established procedures. Qualifications You must possess a valid LPN/LVN license with no restrictions or a license from a Compact State to qualify. A minimum of two years working as an LPN/LVN is mandatory for this role. Proficient in providing information to patients and their families about different diseases and demonstrating expertise in medication and wound care.
