About the position The WFH Call Center Agent position is a part-time remote role focused on fundraising for non-profit organizations and progressive democratic candidates. The agent will engage with potential donors through outbound calls, utilizing scripts to influence donations and process credit card gifts. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle various customer interactions while working with a team to enhance fundraising success. Responsibilities Make outbound fundraising calls using an automated dialer. , Answer incoming calls from prospective customers. , Use scripts to provide information about candidates or causes. , Record the donor's personal information accurately in a computer system. , Correctly code calls. Requirements 1 year of relevant experience in fundraising or similar calling roles. , Ability to work with scripts and follow guidelines for calls. , Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Nice-to-haves Experience with inbound/outbound calls. , Knowledge of political causes and candidates. , Ability to handle complaints and aggressive callers.
