Linux Administrator - Storage Specialist IDR is seeking a Linux Admin to join one of our top clients in Atlanta, GA. Position Overview for the Linux Administrator: Install and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS). Manage user accounts and security settings. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance. Deploy and manage storage solutions (SAN, NAS, iSCSI). Monitor storage capacity and performance. Implement RAID and manage LVM. Ensure data protection with backup tools. Automate tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible. Maintain system and storage documentation. Work with DevOps and database teams for integration. Provide support during maintenance and outages. Required Qualifications of the Linux Administrator: 3+ years managing Linux systems. Strong experience with storage technologies (SAN, RAID, LVM). Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python). Knowledge of backup practices. Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet). Understanding of networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, SSH). Whats in it for you?
