This team also manages technology operations in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. We are seeking a talented, hard-working and dedicated Associate Quality Control Technician to join our Media Experience team for a part-time position. In this position, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail. Our environment is incredibly dynamic, fast-paced, and sophisticated. The ideal candidate has a background in video quality control and is extremely comfortable working in Mac OS X. Responsibilities • QC video assets for video/audio fidelity • Ability to recognize video/audio issues • Understanding of macOS and Windows operating systems Basic Qualifications • High School Diploma • Must be able to work a minimum of 28 hours per week • Must have an exemplary attention to detail. • Must possess strong communication skills. • Must possess solid organizational skills. • The candidate must be self-motivated. • The candidate must have a strong ability to multitask and adapt to new situations. • A solid computer and technical background, with experience working in new media and online organizations. • Familiarity with streaming and broadcast media • Familiarity with Google apps • Must be a team player, with an enthusiastic, congenial, and committed employee. Preferred Qualifications • 1+ years of experience • Fluency in languages other than English is a big plus • Helpful skills include a background in encoding video for the web • An understanding of various video codecs, notably H.264 #DISNEYTECH The hiring range for this position in New York City, NY is $37,047 to $49,590 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
