Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Movie & TV Interviewer based in Los Angeles to join our team. The ideal candidate has a deep appreciation for movies across genres, excellent communication skills, and the ability to express nuanced opinions in a concise manner. If you have a portfolio of published interviews, we invite you to apply. NOTE: The ideal candidate will be comfortable with producing written content and conducting in person and video-based interviews. Requirements Los Angeles-based and able to attend screenings and interviews multiple times per week. Proven experience as a writer and movie critic, interview, or similar role, with a portfolio of published articles (or equivalent). A passion for cinema and a deep love for movies across a wide range of genres. In-depth knowledge of film history, genres, and industry trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Journalism, or a related field. Active presence on social media platforms with a focus on film-related discussions. Familiarity with SEO best practices for online content. Existing relationships with PR for screeners and interview access is a plus. Experience writing movie and TV related news content.
