We have a great opportunity for a remote Front-End Software Engineer... to join our IT Trade Engineering team, within the Ferguson IT organization! As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using modern web technologies. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to ensure a seamless integration and optimal performance of our web applications. This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain user-facing features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks. • Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality code. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. • Solve and debug issues to improve performance and user experience. • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends. Qualifications and Requirements: • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role. • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue). • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) is highly desirable. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Bonus Skills: • Experience with Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components). • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and best practices. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Pay Range: Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience. $5,444.76 - $9,537.00 Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
