Monitor and troubleshoot database issues to ensure timely resolution. Implement and maintain database security protocols to protect sensitive data. Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions. Optimize database performance through regular monitoring and tuning. Identify and resolve database capacity and scalability issues. Develop and maintain documentation of database processes and procedures. Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends. Participate in on-call support and provide timely response to database emergencies. Work closely with application development teams to ensure optimal database design and performance. Train and mentor junior DBAs on database administration best practices. Collaborate with external vendors for database support and troubleshooting.
