Software Quality Assurance Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Nitro Quality Assurance Manager works alongside the Director of Nitro Support Services to grow and develop the Quality Assurance team. They will manage a group of quality analysts to ensure that projects are tested efficiently, delivered on time and to required quality and security standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Mentor and guide members of the Quality team, providing them with constructive feedback, facilitating professional growth, and conducting regular performance reviews and one-on-one meetings. • Establish and uphold testing and security standards to maintain consistency in quality assurance across all projects. • Develop and maintain QA metrics to assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive efficiency. • Explore opportunities for automation to streamline testing processes and reduce manual effort, improving overall efficiency. • Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to foster continuous improvement, drive efficient project delivery, and adapt to evolving requirements. • Recruit, onboard, and train new staff members to build a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance team. • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance to ensure our processes remain cutting-edge. • Undertake any other duties as assigned by BT Leadership. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
