Diversified Communications is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our growing company! In this role, you'll provide front-line customer service to our internal and external customers and provide all customer service aspects of our events through various correspondence and systems. Diversified Communications, a Portland, Maine employer, is a global tradeshow and conference... organizer, and your customers in this role are business leaders around the globe. Our Customer Service team is the liaison between sales & marketing and our events. This team adapts to competing priorities on a regular basis, juggles customer service inquiries and problem-solving with ease and creativity, and is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented person to join their team. Our customers are the event exhibitors, and we provide them with logistical support to ensure that they have a successful event. In this role, you’ll: • Respond to exhibitor’s logistical questions and inquiries via phone, live chat, or email. • Use on-the-job training to create a web-based portal for exhibitors to access event-specific information. An eye for detail is key and creativity is encouraged! • Create and execute exhibitor communications for assigned events. • Assist with the collection of sponsorship deliverables for events. • Assist with various tasks ranging from data entry, projects, and other administrative tasks. We are looking for people who: • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in an event-driven environment. • Find creative problem-solving fulfilling and challenging. • Enjoy talking with and assisting others. • Value collaboration and thrive as an integral member of a dynamic team. • Can adapt quickly to changing priorities and customer needs. • Must have good oral and written communication skills. • Are interested in the ‘behind the scenes’ perspective of tradeshows and conferences. • Possess strong time management skills with a track record of meeting tight deadlines. Some nice plusses: • Multicultural experience. • Written and/or verbal multilingual language skills, especially fluent. Work Environment: Diversified Communications offers the flexibility to work remotely and enjoy a hybrid schedule, working in the office 2 days per week. While this position reports into our office located in Portland, Maine, we are open to considering fully remote applicants.
